Dolla Financial brokers deal with Derrimon Group
Jamaica-based regional microfinance lender Dolla Financial has signed a deal with distribution company Derrimon Group. The deal brings Derrimon into the micro-loans sector.

Dolla Financial, which is a part of the FirstRock Capital Holdings group, has set up Dolla Financial Services (Guyana), which has just commenced operations. Dolla Financial Services Guyana is the first private microfinance outlet to have operations in the country.
Dolla Financial Services secures additional capital for its Guyanese operations
The additional capital has been secured by Dolla Financial Group Chief Executive Officer Kadeen Mairs, who has sold his almost six per cent equity stake in the company to Dequity Capital, a St Lucian-registered privately held investment company, which previously had a 19 per cent equity stake in the company.
